| Abstract: | The new genus Katytermus from Malaysia (type species: Katytermus palmicola spec, nov.) is described and illustrated. The new genus belongs to a new tribe, Tetratermini, of the subfamily Lysi- terminae. The type species has been reared as a gregarious endoparasite of a "katydid" longhorn grasshopper (Gryllacrididae). |
